The personal data processed by Familia has been entered by you as a user of the service. The personal data is not collected from a third party and is not shared with a third party.

The Familia app is a system where you as a user should feel safe. Therefore, Structure Innovation Sweden AB has taken appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration, including:

User data and information you share in Familia is encrypted when stored.
Each user chooses a unique username and password.
All information contained in Familia is backed up so that no information can be lost.
As a user, you have:
Right of access; you can request an extract of the personal data that Familia processes.
Right to rectification; in order to keep it up to date, you have the right and opportunity to change the personal data that Familia processes.
Right to erasure; you as a user have the right and option to delete your account at any time. Deleting an account also means deleting all family connections. Note that content may remain in the interest of other users. If you want to become a user again, you need to create a completely new account.
Familia uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a provider of internet- and server services. AWS services are used to receive and store the content you upload, as well as to forward it to whomever you have shared the content with. The content you share in Familia is stored on servers in Sweden.
For you to feel safe and secure as a user, Familia is built from the ground up with security and your privacy in mind. Because privacy is important to us, we are transparent with the security we have invested in:
Familia has a strong password policy to protect your account and account content from being hacked.
All content you share is encrypted so that it cannot be read by unauthorized persons and becomes pointless to steal as it is rendered unreadable by the encryption. Only you and the person you share content with have access to your content.
Familia uses established services where you can subscribe to security updates. The modern IT landscape is constantly under new threats. Familia is built to be updated continuously without affecting you as a user.
Familia’s servers are locked and configured with security monitoring. Unauthorized attempts to access Familia’s servers are identified, tracked and blocked to prevent abuse. Monitoring takes place automatically around the clock.
The systems Familia uses have been reviewed and approved by an external party. Our supplier AWS is ISO certified in security and information security through ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and ISO 27018. Familia is regularly audited in terms of security.
AWS is a US company subject to US laws and regulations. If you are suspected of a crime in the United States, AWS and Structure Innovation Sweden AB may be required to release content you have shared in Familia to US authorities.
Amazon Web Services, which is used as a service provider, is not a third party that accesses personal data, but acts as a personal data processor.
